Fiskars Extendable Pruning Stik

I watched a neighbor use this pruner and it looked so easy. I purchased it and it was just so easy to use. It is 100% better than those long awkward top heavy poles that I use to have. This pruner is so light-weight that it does not tire out your arms and when you are a woman that is a great benefit.

It is like using a hand pruner in that it is so light-weight but you are able to go much higher and trim your taller hedges. I want everyone to own this pruner so I am telling everyone how great it is. And I am giving it to all my friends as gifts. This pruner is awesome. I have several of the old 2 arm style which required some muscle to get through the larger branches. It was also difficult to get the higher branches while balancing on your toes and squeezing the arms of the old style pruners, and I didn't want to have to saw each branch with the standard pole pruner. This combines the best of both, easy reach for high branches and effortless pruning by design.

The adjustable head angle is a great help also for those odd angle cuts. A simple pull of the sliding handle and voila, low-effort tree grooming. I have only trimmed 40 or so.25 to 1.5in mesquite branches and a few shrubs and highly recommend this. Spent about 3 hours using stik pruner and it seemed more like play. This was on a project I had been dreading! My propane tank had become entangled in a pair of overgrown, honeysuckle encased burning bushes and a thorn bush.

Also trimmed a wild mulberry tree so as to remove it. Now all of the above are ready for the brush killer! My back is not aching and my 17 y/o and I enjoyed the day. A bow saw, pole saw, and chain saw would have made for a painful day on this project.Only negative is bark got stuck between the blades twice, but a standard screw driver helped to pry it out. I've used this pruner for about two years now.

Right off the bat I want to say, 'If it ever broke, I'd immediately go out and buy another one!' I've used it on everything from trees to poison ivy. It cuts small branches and trees without effort. It's 5 foot reach allows me to cut poison ivy or thorned bushes without getting it on me.

Two years later, there are things that I would do different:1) After a cut, don't let the pull slide slap back to the original position. After time, it causes the slide to stick on the iinitial pull. Not a bad problem.2) On supple limbs and grass, a piece of the limb may bind in the blades. It's easy to unbind and you just keep going.Other than that, a greatRead More I've used this pruner for about two years now. I went to Home Depot after doing some research for something to cut and trim some dead branches around my roof. It was suggested I get a pole saw, but I didn't like the prices for a good one. I stumbled across the EZ reach stik tree pruner and asked the sales rep about the features. It didn't look like it could cut thicker branches and the sales rep said he has one for his yard and we could go outside and try a demo. I chose a few branches that were 5 feet high and around 1' in diameter.

Cut like butter. I've been using this EZ reach stik tree pruner for a few months and am extremely happy with the purchase. Saves me the $400 the tree cutting company wanted to charge me.

I purchased the Maytag Centennial Commercial Technology Washer with Econconserve energy star and the matching Maytag Centennial Commercial Technology Dryer from Home Depot and oh my gosh, I feel like I stole them.they were such an awesome price, Ken the salesman was wonderful and they were delivered as promised the next morning. This set has washed huge loads and small loads and everything comes out fabulous.

I highly recommend this set. The washer measures carefully the load and only uses the amount of water needed for that size. This is actually the second one of these that I have purchased. I found it incredibly useful. I use it for cutting low limbs and moreso for cutting hard to reach weeds and trees that grow up in the perennial beds that I cant reach without stomping on stuff.

If you adjust the head you can walk around and cut plants coming up in the pine straw beds etc without having to bend over. I bought this one to give to my dad who is getting older and cannot bend over as easily as he used to be able. Chain drive gives it strength. I love this tool! I had a pole saw but for a grandma, it is top heavy and hard to use.

Youtube tv hindi serial geet hui sabse parayi. This Stik pruner is light weight and has an easy reach and cuts so easily and fast. My son cleaned leaves off of our roof and I said use this and cut any branch you can reach. This cuts up to 1 1/2' so you can do a lot of trimming.

In a matter of minutes the roof was cleared and he was looking for more to do. This has no rope or chain or other parts to get stuck or hung up in the leaves and branches. It cuts without much strength with a pull at the end of the Stik or using the slider half way up the stick-depending on how far you want to reach. I used it three days on palm fronds, which were damaged by ice storms. I had let the fronds stay on the trees for several weeks, so they were mostly brittle.

The unit jammed. I initially thought the jamming was at the blade jaws, but was wrong; it was the chain inside the pole. At first, pulling the ball on the end would clear it, but on the third day, I had to use a belt puller to free the chain. After having to stop and do this nearly every cut, I had to return it to the store. Trying to get it at the right angle didn't always work. Pulling the rope to get oak tree branches down was tiring. I read the reviews and figured for the price, I'd give this a try. It was so easy. Most of what I'm pruning is 1-1/4' in diameter or less.

Being that I didn't purchase the telescopic pruner, I had to stand on a ladder. I was able to pull the ball with no problem and watch the branches drop.Cutting branches is a piece of cake now.

I wish I bought this years ago. My fiancee and I have recently bought a house on which our neighbors have large established trees that are over our fence. We also have several small bushes that are quite tall.

We are very short. We have had several storms lately that have caused lots of broken and low hanging limbs on our bushes and trees. We picked out this pruner for the ease of it and the long handle. It seems sturdy and was very easy to use on all sizes of branches. We had no problems with it at all and took care of everything we couldn't reach easily. We even used it to cut down some of the limbs further once they were on the ground so they could be in smaller pieces to dispose of. It makes pruning trees and shrubs absolutely effortless. So much easier to use than my long pole pruner. I won't throw the long one away however, as it is still needed for the very high branches. The EZ Reach is just a joy to use.

Very smooth operation and appears to be very well made. The articulating cutter head is a real plus as is the ability to activate the cutter by pulling on the ball at the very end of the stick. This allows reaching as high as you can with one arm while activating the cutter head with the other. Simply a wonderful product.

Highly recommended! Bought it this morning and trimmed some large hollys around the house. In past years I had used a ladder and a 36' pruner and couldn't reach the upper parts of the plant. It is difficult to get out of the packaging, but it sliced through branches like they were butter.

One caveat, the sharpened blade is stamped steel, not forged, so if you twist while you are cutting, it would be easy to bend the blade, and you'd have to replace it. The pull to the cutter is leveraged, making cutting branches easy.

Works great!Easy to use; worth every penny.Only complaints - it'd be nice if length of reach could be more flexible, maybe a little shorter/longer. Also, once in a while the cord/grip (that you pull towards you, to make it cut) gets stuck.

Other than that, I am VERY pleased with it. I've been using it to cut branches of mediterranean palm tree, and this pruner lets me cut the branches close to the trunk of the tree withOUT me having to get close to the tree. Saves me a LOT of time and hassle. And it's fairly light, too! I highly recommend it.
